Same no for SRM PO and ECC PO

Hi all,

We are on SRM 5.0 ECS.

Is there anyway we can have the same doc number creatd for the SRM PO and R/3 PO.I can maintain the same number range for both but how do i ensure that the same no(say SRMpo --> 500000001 and ECC PO also 500000001) is assigned to both PO's?Is this possible?

You'd have to create the same number range (as SRM PO) for ECC PO that is coming from SRM and mark it "external". So the PO number would be in sync between the SRM POs and their ECC copies.

Is it possible to do the same thing for Confirmation in SRM and GR in ECC?

If so,what is the path in ECC to maintain the number range config for GR?

No. I don't believe so. ECC GR is considered "material document" as opposed to SRM GR which is still a procurement document.

SRM PO Number range internal = ECC PO number range external will do the job.
