ToDo after client copy -> ContentServer

Hello,

we have done a client copy from production (client 100) to development (client 400). Both systems works with the same ContentServer but with different repositories.

After the client copy the links for the documents in SAP (CV03N) are not working because the point to the wrong repository.

What are the ToDo's after the client copy to set new links for the documents and how can we copy/create the ContentServer repository for the new client.

Are there any documents from SAP available?

Thanks

Arnfried

Hi Arnfried,

for transporting original from one repository to another you need to ask abap'r to write a background program.

Since the repositories are different , you need to give the abap'r file paths for both repositories.

Hope this wil help.

Hello Ravindra,

meanwhile I have found the following SAP Note 1043676 - Migration of ArchiveLink Documents.

I will check it.

Hi Arnfried,

Archivelink is used to store the dms documents. It's type of content server. Your requirement is to transport the documents from one server to another since they are stored on different servers. This can be achived by abap program which will inlcude both the file paths.
