How to lock using of deleted material in sale orders.

Hi!

I use mm06 to mark material for deletion and set delete on mandant level.

When I try to select this material in sale order I get (I) message. How could I customize system to get Error message?

I have found one approach that is to set SD status (mm02) wich lock using of such material in sale document. But users forget to set SD status and continue to include deleted materia in sale documents.

Any Idea?

Go to OVSU, select "01" and click on blue lens on top so that you will see some list of tabs. In that maintain "B" for "Block for order" field and assign this 01 in material master for the field "X-distr.chain status" under Sales: Sales Org.Data 1 tab.

Now for that particular material, sale order cannot be created.

I know this way. But using it I have to set sale anatus (mm02) AND deletion material deletion flag (mm06). Users sametime forget to set SD status and deleted materials are included into sale orders. My idea is to lock material usage only with deletion flag.
