Hi,

Our Company has recently upgraded a PI 7.1 to PI 7.1 EHP1. Since then, we are having the following error appearing every few seconds:

#2.#2010 10 14 09:37:25:044#+0200#Error#/Applications/ExchangeInfrastructure#

#BC-XI#com.sap.xi.util.misc#00215ADE0CE8CC1C000000000000669F#874156251000000980#sap.com/com.sap.xi.services#com.sap.aii.utilxi.xmlvalidation.impl.XMLSyntaxValidatorImpl#J2EE_GUEST#0#SAP J2EE Engine JTA Transaction : [341affffff90ffffffdb03ffffffc1ffffffea]#4CE8A185D60611DF9CD700215ADE0CE8#4ce8a185d60611df9cd700215ade0ce8#4ce8a185d60611df9cd700215ade0ce8#0#Application [23]#Java##

Failed to set maximum value for maxOccurs to 5000#

We have some maxOccurs = unbounded in the XSD files for 1 to n relations, but I think this is a completely normal setup. It seems that it occurs during XML validation

Does someone have any idea where it comes from ?

Regards,

Toni

Hello Toni

Upgrading the JVM should resolve this error.

For SAP JVM 5, see note 1376422

For SAP JVM 6, see note 1377856

Mark

Hi,

The issue is solved.

The problem was that the primary instance was started with SAPJVM 1.5.0.57 and the dialog instance was started with SAPJVM 1.5.0.30. The maxOccurs error only happened on the dialog instance.

Thanks Mark

Toni
