Diff between Text view and Text Editor

Hi,

Am a beginner.Currently am working on a internal project,named SHOPPING CART. we created views and upto 50% of our project is completed. The run time error we are undergoing is ABOUT US view page. In this view page we created functionality text view, but it is going in DUMP. please suggest us a TYPE. And alsi, i want to know about difference of Text view and Text editor.

Hi aditya,

The errors are

The following error text was processed in the system FSD : The ASSERT condition was violated.

The error occurred on the application server sap-01_FSD_01 and in the work process 3 .

The termination type was: RABAX_STATE

The ABAP call stack was:

Method: CREATE_BY_VIEW_ELEMENT of program CL_WDR_VIEW_ELEMENT_ADAPTER===CP

I Want to know, why this error is happening ? and what mistake i have done?

Hi ,

The dump "ASSERT CONDITION IS VIOLATED" usually comes when binding for one of the UI elements is removed.

Make sure that all the elements in the view are bound properly to context attributes and nodes.
