Does Cradit Ammount on WBS Element effact WBS Budget

Dear Experts,

We are using very limited functionality of Project System where we use WBS Element for recording expenses through PO/GR. Some time we need to record income on WBS Element for which we post a JV entry on WBS Element.

Reports show the -ve cost on WBS Element but it does not effect the project. On closing we need to carryforward the remaining budget to next fiscal year.

Is there any better way we can record the revenue ammount on WBS Element so that it can effact the project budget

Hi,

debit the g/l having primary cost element and with category 11. you can book the income against the wbse via jv and the reports

shows -ve values. However there will be no effect on wbse budget and it could be carryforwarded.
