RFC Error while doing Client copy

Dear Experts,

Please clarify my doubt

we need to do client refresh from 300 (prod) to 200( qly) so we go for RFC

in Quality we Execute scc9 and log in into production client and given all credentials in that client and after that

we select Test Run and Executed in immediate

its running after some time it shows an information that is both client tables are not matched if we continued this we lost some data in tables

now what can i do for that now i need to run in test mode only first

Regards

Hi,

Apart from patch levels, are both the production and quality systems in same customization levels. Please paste the log from SCC3 of client copy test run which you have executed.

Thanks,

Hi Swathi,

Before running Remote CC, It is always recommended to perform RFC-DDIC comparison that is available in SCC9 Tcode

from this result , u can undertand the difefrence between source and target client.

If you think that there is a difference in tables structure, you can exclude them using client expert setting ( or using the report RSCCEXPT) and perform the RFC-DDIC comparison again. Need to make sure that there is no discrepency in the result before you go.

Thanks and Regards

I wouldnt Suggest a Remote Client Copy.

Better go for a Client Export / Import . It would be better and much Faster .
