Documents attached from external websited

Hi Gurus,

I want to attach documents from external web portals.

I have configured data carriers, but my question is the path of the web document which has to be attached is somewhere about 220- 240.

Can you help me to attach the documents which have more characters in the web path.

Hi Praveen,

maybe the information under http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/PLM/LinkingURLpagestoDocuments could be useful for you. As far as I know the field for the original filepath can have up to 255 characters.

Hi Praveen,

You need to define it in "Define mount points / logical drive" prefix file path in DC20.

The limit is enough for your requirement.

Could you please share the content of this wiki to me?

I want to open external URL with SAP DMS application.
