Work item not created in second approver; cannot forward either

Hi All,

Kindly help me please. How can I forward a work item to the second approver's inbox? After the work item is approved by the first approver, no work item is created in the second approver's inbox. In SWIA, we cannot forward the item anymore because it already has a status of COMPLETED but in BBP_PD, the work item status is

Workitem-ID 000002954599

Task WS10400009

Text Tow-Step Approv...

Status STARTED

Statustext In Process

Date 10/05/2010

Time 15:33:00

Hi,

Please check the workflow log for workitem 000002954599 in SWI1 transaction.

You see the 2nd approver or some error information.

Hi Masa,

I looked into SWI1 and the work item ID of my work item was not there. What else can I do?

Hi,

You can check waht is the current step and who is holding the workitem in the SWI1 workflow log.

Hi Masa,

The status of the work item in SWI1 is COMPLETED which is why we cannot forward it to the second approver. Kindly advice us what we can do so that the second approver can approve it? Thanks!

Hi,

What is your issue?

A. Workitem is not created for 2nd approver

B. You want to re-start approval process for ordered old SC

Hi,

Please test this step.

1. create new confirmation

2. check workitem ID in BBP_PD

3. display workflow log in SWI1, you see the 1 st approver by agent button

4. approve confirmation by 1st approver

5. refresh the workflow log, check if you can see 2nd approver by agent button

Hi Masa,

We cannot recreate the confirmation since we are not the authorized person to make the confirmations/GRs. Is there way to forward or create the work item in the second approver's inbox given its current status?

Is it productive system? Is the issue only for specific document? Does it work fine for other document or old document?
