Hierarchies for Category and Product

Hi Gurus,

I need to develop Custom Hierarcies for Category and Product, on the BI side for SPM project. Following are the questions:

1. Category: I find there are 2 objects for this,

0XALOCCAT

0XAEWCCAT

these are basic charecteristics [which are referenced by 0XARLOCCAT & 0XAREWCCAT[.

So please tell me which object do I have to use for developing the Hierarchy.

2. ProducT: 0XALOCPROD, is the base charecteristic, so can I build the heirarchy on this?

pl come back in case my questions are unclear.

Hi Sathya

The Source System Category is 0XALOCCAT

The Global Category (coming out of the Data Enrichment process) is 0XAREWCCAT

So, the question is which category do you have data for?

If you are going thru the data classification services then you can build hierarchy for both. If not then the source system data should atleast have values for 0XALOCCAT and you should be able to build your hierarchy for that.
