transfer from unrestricted to quality

Dear Gurus,

I have stocks that are uploaded to the system as unrestricted, now I need to transfer these stocks to quality inspection and get inspection lot, how can I perform this?

i have not tried this but

Mb1b-->322 mvt type.

prior to this Make sure that you have activated the QM view & 08 inspection type .

or

Go to QA08------->activate 0800 inspection type.This will create a inspection lot on background which you can process further..

Set up 08 in config as the note referenced above describes.

Transfer the material into QI stock.

Use QA08 to activate QM for the material. Make usr you click on "activate despite QI stock" . An 08 lot will be created for each batch in QM.

When you do stock updation and for activating Qm for these stock is normaly done through 0800 inspection type and using QA08
