Transport Site Configuration (tcode SPRO)

Hi Guys,

I would like to ask for help on how I can transport and site configuration (using tcode SPRO) from DEV to PRD without having to modify PRD clients parameters to allow modification. Everytime we have a new site, I need to open the client just to make this changes allowable to the production or quality assurance server.

Hi,

Of course in Retail it is a practice to transport the Site masters through WBTE and WBTI T - codes.

WBTE - It is Used to Export the Site masters from One Client to another.

WBTI - Used to Import the Exported Sites ti the Destination Point.

What I would like to do is to transport the site configuration from DEV to QAS and from QAS to PRD. Should I stil use WBTI and WBTE for this purpose?

Yes you need to use this txn. to transport site from one system to other...
