Work processes on Application servers

hi all,

I have clustered atmosphere in my production server.

It has Db, CI and 2 application servers. On central instance i have all the work processes, where as on Application servers i have only dialog and Background process.

When i see at OS level i see start, default and Central instance profiles.

For Application server i see profiles like <SID>_D<nr>_app1.

I cant see instanmce profiles of Application servers in RZ11.

Can i have update processes on Application server.

And how can i inrease that. Should i import profiles from active servers

Hi,

In order to see profile, you go to transaction RZ10 not RZ11. Then Import Profile of active servers.

Yes, you can have update process on app server. Just add parameter rdisp/wp_no_vb and rdisp/wp_no_vb2.
