Dear All,

We are moving out journals from IASP33 to IASP34 with WRKDEVD *ASP its

PEC - IASP33 - (primary)

PECS - IASP34 - (secondary)

When we start with command SETASPGRP PECS we get error as

ASP group PECS not set for thread X'000000000013'

Device description PECS not correct for operation

Please advice

Hi hpcomp,

are you really in the main menu ?

I had this often e.g. in STRPDM, that it deosn't work there ...

Is anybody on the system able to use the iASP PECS at all ?

Hi Volker,

yes we are in main menu, also IASP PECS is in status available

But since PEC is primary should we use command STRASPGRP PEC instead of STRASPGRP PECS

The secondary always comes with the primary automatically )
