Costing version locking

Hello experts,

can i lock my cost versions in CJ40 like budgeting by using wbs user status...?is there any other way?

You can use user status to lock the cost planning values. But it wont be applicable to a particular version, It will be applicable to all CO Version. You can also lock cost planning without user status, Follow the path in change WBSE transaction or CJ20N, Select WBSE>Status>Lock>Planning.

Hi ,

As per my understanding you dont want to give the user access to change the planning version in CJ40.

If I am correct your requirement can be possible through 'screen variant' for transaction CJ40.Screen variants are created with transaction SHD0. take help of technical consultant for creating screen variants.
