PPM 5.0 error

Hi,

we have SAP EHP 2 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0/sql server 2005 on win server 2005.

I have implemented the CPRXRPM add-on.

For the PPM user i have given the following roles:

SAP_BCV_USER
SAP_BPR_PPM
SAP_CPR_BCV_USER
SAP_CPR_BCV_USER_COMP
SAP_CPR_USER
SAP_RPM_BCV_USER
SAP_RPM_BCV_USER_COMP

When i access the url : http://ppmserver.sbox.com:8000/sap/bc/nwbc

I am in the path Business Context Viewer > Configuration Center and i see the following error:

What has happened? 
The URL call http://ppmserver.sbox.com:8000/sap/bc/webdynpro/bcv/wda_cfg_entry was terminated because of an error.

The followin error text was processed in NWP the systm: An exception occurred that was not caught.

What can you do? 
With the termination type RABAX_STATE you will find in the system NWP in transaction ST22 more information on the cause of the termination. 
With termination type ABORT_MESSAGE_STATE you will findon the application server Config1745VM0_NWP_00 in transaction SM21 more information on the cause of the termination. 
With termination type ERROR_MESSAGE_STATE you can scan for further information in the trace file for the work process 6 in transaction ST11 on the application server. Config1745VM0_NWP_00 It is possible that an analysis of the trace files for the other work processes is necessary. 
If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system adminmistrator.

When i click the Portfolio and Project Administration tab, i get a similar error saying

The URL call http://ppmserver.sbox.com:8000/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/inm_workcenter_app was terminated because of an error.

Pls help me solve this error.

Webdynpro is activated in the SICF

Hi,

could you please check if the Business Funktion /BCV/MAIN is activated

in your system? You could check that in transaction SFW5. If not, please

activate it!

To see all the objects in BCV, you need the SAP ROLES SAP_BCV_ADMIN,

SAP_RPM_BCV_USER and SAP_CPR_BCV_USER!

Thanks for your reply. I've activated this BF and assigned roles.

The error in Business Context Viewer tab is corrected but I still have the error in Portfolio and Project Administration tab.

The URL call https://host:44300/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/inm_workcenter_app was terminated because of an error.

Note

The following error text was processed in system CS7 : Web Dynpro component does not exist

The error occurred on the application server host and in the work process 6 .

Did you ever figure out this problem? I am having the same problem after the upgrade from 7.0 RPM 4.5 to EhP2 PPM 5.0.

Hi Nanda,

It seems like some incomplete POWL configuration. Please have someone check the POWL configuration to see that it has been integrated correctly with WebDynpro. Please go to ST22 and check the exception that was thrown. This would give you a better idea as to why the error was being thrown.
