Requirement : Allow user to change PO after it is released / Ordered .
If goods receipt / COnfirmation has happened ; I need to disable a check in R/3 and Allow users to still edit POs.
I heard in Extended Classic scenarion in SRM 7.0 , it is possible to change PO even after it is released .
Anybody knoews how ?

Ambar
Hello,
If you are able to change the PO and this is not what you were looking for, badi BBP_AUTHORITY_CHECK allows you to performa a more sophisticated authorization check.
Kind regards,

Hi
You can do it in ECS in SRM. System will create a new version of the PO and will not let you change the quantity to lower than what you have received (if GR is updated in PO Follow on documents properly)

Hi Ambar,
Yes its possible and very much standard in SRM.
In SRM extended classic scenarion you can modify PO in SRm after it is ordered. it will create a change version provided versioning is active and based on workflow for PO Change the workflow would get triggered. once approved a higher verison of PO would be active and change version will get closed. the change PO will then output to vendor as well as transferred to ECC system.
for PO version active the SPRO path is as below:
SPRO->IMG->supplier relationship managemnet -> SRM server-> Cross application basic settings ->Switch on version control for purchaisng document.
Make sure you have entry for business object BUS2201 as active.
Thanks
