Hi,
What is SUPPLY PLAN DISTRIBUTION DEMAND(PLANNED)
In the PAST periods, I am seeing SUPPLY PLAN DISTRIBUTION RECEIPT(PLANNED) w/o SUPPLY PLAN DISTRIBUTION DEMAND(PLANNED)
Can any help understand the reason
Thanks,
SS
Hi,
Distribution demand :
Stock transfers that are generated during the SNP planning process. The distribution demand shows the supplying location's view of these stock transfers.
Planned distribution demand: This refers to the SNP stock transfers that are generated during the SNP run.
Confirmed distribution demand: This refers to the deployment stock transfers that are generated during the deployment run.
TLB-confirmed distribution demand: This refers to the TLB shipments that are generated during the TLB run.
The "Distribution Demand (MRP Area)" is a special case. It includes stock transfer reservations generated during the SNP run for stock transfers for which at least one location is an MRP area.
Distribution receipts:
Stock transfers that are generated during the SNP planning process. The distribution receipt shows the receiving location's view of these stock transfers.
Planned distribution receipt: This refers to the SNP stock transfers that are generated during the SNP run.
Confirmed disribution receipt: This refers to the deployment stock transfers that are generated during the deployment run.
TLB-confirmed distribution receipt: This refers to the TLB shipments that are generated during the TLB run.
The "Distribution Receipt (MRP Area)" is a special case. It includes stock transfer reservations generated during the SNP run for stock transfers for which at least one location is an MRP area.
Thanks,
nandha

Hi
I hope you would have got an idea about distribution demand and receipt from Nandha's explanation. To add to that , the reason you may be seeing distribution receipts in the past without any distribution demand could be because you may have a macro or background job that deletes that distribution demand elements that occur in the past. Also the receipts should vanish when you run the heuristic .
Thanks
