Problem after code group deletion from table

Hi

We deleted some extra data from QPGR and QPAM tables foe catalog 1 and 3. Now catalog 3 is working fine after deletion. But when I use qs51 for catalog 1, its shows information/warning messege at the bottom saying " Create code group XXX in catalog 1". XXX is the code group that was deleted.The messege keeps on coming till the last code group name that we deleted. And after that only I can eneter the next screen.

What may be the reason that catalog 3 is working fine but catalog 1 is not?

Can anyone please throw any light on this?

It is because you deleted the code group and codes in QS41, for which the selected set was already created.

Now delete the selected set also (after pressing ENTER till the time you enter in QS51 tcode ignoring the information message).

Once you delete the selected set also where deleted codes were used, this message will disappear next time you enter the QS51.

As far as the catalog 3 is concern you are working with selected set.But I am not sure what exactly you are using is it a selected set ? In QS51 where are you using the the Catalog 1.?
