brcoonect failure from application

Dear Gurus!

I intend to run tx:db13 jobs from the application however when i so so it fails.

On the contract if i run it from the OS (using the OS user orasid) the brtools utility, it works find.

OS - Solaris 10

any help?

Hi ,

Check your BR* files permissions, might be they are missing, can you please check in kernel directory.

Also check SAPXPG_DBDEST_<HOSTNAME> RFC is working fine or not.

Please check and revert if you faced any problem.

check OS permission and test the connection with R3trans.

check the log file for error and resolve accordingly.

Is the rfc SAPXPG_DBDEST_<HOSTNAME> working ?

You must have a permissions problem... check the brconnect logs at OS level and post the errors here.

Change the permissions for BR tools log at OS level.

ann also check the OPS$<sid>ADM users since BRtools connects with this user.

Whats the error you are getting when you try to execute it from application level DB13 and put the same here so that we can help you further to analyze the issue.

return code: 00003 error during initialization.

action log not found in database.

When i try to check the details an i get the warming "could not read detail log"
