Dear colleague,
can some body explain me while creating routing
1. what is task list .
2. what is task list usage relevance for.
Thanks
Sandeep
Hi Sandeep,
The CORRECT forum for this would be the manufacturing forum.
1. Task list
In SAP the task list are the master data which tells you about how the specific tasks are performed.
Few examples are listed below.
N Routing
This task list type N denotes routing. Which means this will define how the material is produced.
it will have hte list of operation performed in the routing with the work centre required and also the standard values like time, labour, setup etc required to produce a product.
Like the above few other task list types are listed below.
A General maintenance task list
Q Inspection Plan
2. Task list usage
This will define the usage of the task list.
When you create a task list you need define the usage along with it.
ex: when you create routing , then you need to define N with usage as 1.
There are subsequent usage of this settings. ( Refer T.code OPL8)
when you careate a production order then in the order type you will be defiening the Task list with usage combination for which produciton order can be created.
Hope this gives few inputs to proceed further.
