Change Poting Date in CO13

Hello Experts,

I'm trying to cancel a production order confirmation in CO13 but I'm getting an error due to closed period.

Is there a way I can changes the posting date of the cancellation to the current period?

Dear ,

There is no standard functinality in SAP to change the posting date in CO13 for cancelation of operation confirmation .If your period is closed , then you to discuss with your MM and FI consultant wether it is feasible to opena the material period ( MMPV) and also finacial period ( OB52) so that you can cancel the operation confirmation and agin re-post the same based on your requirement date .

Before that you should check the Stock status in MMBE because you have done Auto GR .If it is special stock ( sales order ) , then any PGI , IV done or not ??

Check with your FI/MM guy and come back

Dear Sankaran,

Its Impossible to change the posting date in CO13. If you want to cancel the material document- Cancel through MIGO, IN MIGO u Can change the posting date & then Post , after that if you want u can cancel the confirmation in CO13

I already tried as you suggested way (MIGO, MBST), system will give below error

Material document cannot be processed

Message no. M7130

Diagnosis

This material document was generated through the posting of a physical

inventory document, a delivery via Shipping, or some other automatic

movement (such as an order confirmation in PP or a usage decision in QM)

and cannot be processed with this function.

System Response

In this transaction, the system can only cancel a material document if

the latter was created using an Inventory Management transaction.

I feel Material document is posted via UD,

you need to cancel the UD first, then Only its possible

Material document is posted by production order last operation (automatic goods movement) using TCode CO11N

not UD

pls advise

try to do 102 movement in MB31 with ref to production order

and make the setting in OPL8, in general valid entry in opk4 , un check the error handling / logs in goods movement

and cancel the confirmation in co13
