Hi

the dispacther of SOLMAN server is not coming up while all services (Oracle and SAP) are running fine and SQL also successfully connected. the R#TRANS -d result is 0000. plus i have updated kernel patch from 146 to 159(pach still showing 146 in dev+disp log even i upgrade 159) but only dispatcher comes green for a while and stopped while work process did not come up for a while.

please check the attached log of dev+disp and guide me

as per your traces, your Java getting down. Kindly confirm is your R3 runs fine and from the trace file the bellow line

i added this value in host file but still getting this error

may i knw your installation is from system copy? check your corresponding config tool properties(config tool->editer mode->configuration->cluster_data->property sheet_instance.properties), whether the host name specified correct or not. else change and restart.

hi jansi,

this was fresh installation and recently i applied patches for solman configuration.

the following last parameters of Propertysheet instance.properties.IDxxxx.

instance.en.host = solman4

instance.en .port = 3201

instance.install.dir= path of J2EE folder

instance.ms.host=solman4

instance.ms.port=3900

instance.osLibspath= path of J2EE folder

instance.system.id=0

mean above parameters setting is looking ok...

is the message server port or ms http port used by another application?

What is in stderrX, std_dispatcher.out and dev_dispatcher?

again we try

chk whether the instance.properties file are exist or not in the location

usr\sap\SID\DVEBMGS<>\j2ee\cluster\instance.properties ?? if yes check the details are same as there in the config tool properties

if not recreate the same either by the backup else from other system and start the system

dont forget to read this for missing instance.properties file

solman have a sdk1.4.09 and i upgrade with C:\j2sdk1.4.2_13-x64 then C:\j2sdk1.4.2_17-x64..

now i checked that still old java path exist in ConfiguTool and instance.properties.so i changed with have C:\j2sdk1.4.2_17-x64.

dear, i have changed the java lib path in mentioned file but still dispatcher is going to stopped...

i am really exhausted from this issue and i want to restore system but this not proper way to

resolve the prob becoz i have lot of learn from you helpful posts and now i want to resolve it via proper way.....

my previous activities which i performed

system was running fine and i just performed these steps.

applied SAPKA/KB 17 on solman and configured Service desk which is successfully completed

after that J2EE is showing with yellow status so, i changed some parameters and upgraded of java from j2sdk1.4.2_09 to j2sdk1.4.2_17-x64 and change the value of j2sdk1.4.2_09 to j2sdk1.4.2_17-x64* in

J2EE Engine(configtool) and after that dispatcher stopped. 

i upgraded the kernel from 146 to 254 but when i see the log of dispatcher then there is still showing 146.

when i try to run disp+work then getting this error

F:\usr\sap\SOL\DVEBMGS00\exe>disp+work.exe

Enter

disp+work.exe - Entry Point Not Found
    the procedure entry point ab_convXML2ABAP could not be located in dynamic link library disp+work.exe.

i hve send you main log files...

now tell me what i have to do mean which log you required,

Hi,

1:R u sure that we have dowloaded right OS independant and dependant kernel files??

2:If possible just give a try upgrading to little higher kernel version

pach still showing 146 in dev+disp log even i upgrade 159

Just update disp+work individual file from market place and apply it will fix the problem

and when once again work+disp stopped.

Just update disp+work individual file from market place and apply it will fix the problem

i did but still same error.
