1. Open Dev Universe

2. Open Connection

3. Now you are pointing to Dev database, change it to Prod Database

4. Save it and Export it

5. When you use this, you can Prod data now.

Note: Make sure all the Tables exist in new environment also. Better to do Integrity check.

Thank You!!

Can clear me following:

1. Is your Dev and Prod Universes pointing to same Database or Different??

2. Dev universe changes do you want to update on Prod like New Classes or objects or filters created??

Dev Univ will update oftenly for all, but finalized one only we will see in Prod.

Thank You!!

Did you create the PROD universe as a copy of your DEV universe or did you create both from the scratch?

Hi

Both are creating from scratch.

You didn't answer my questions.

After again seeing your original post what I understood is:

You can't do it on Automatic/dynamical basis. For each change in Dev Univ, you have to do it in prod univ also.

Alternatively, you can use pointing to exact DB, incase any changes applied at DB level.

Or

Just point DB of prod to Prod univ taking Dev univ as source , so that you can see all the changes in Prod Universe also.

I mean:

1. Open Dev univ (On which you made changes)

2. Change Connection DB to point Prod DB.(Dev--DB to Prod DB)

3. Do Integrity check

4. Save it as "Prod Universe"

5. Export it.

here you go...,,

Hope am clear about this.

Thank You!!
