How to close Completed PO's?

Hi all,

We are on SRM 5.0 ECS.in std,once the PO is marked as complete(using COMPLETE button),it cannot be changed.Now we have some open PO's in system which have been marked as complete by users and now need to be closed.

How can we close these PO's?Closing PO's means releasing the commitments in the backend rt?

yes ,you cann't change the PO in the backend system .

Consider to use the "Last delivery " in the confirmation that will update the PO in the EBP ,and then update the PO in the backend .

Hi,

The Po's with Transaction Completed status cann ot be modified and neither a Confirmation can be posted in SRM.

However in ECS the Goods receipt can be posted in teh Back End (R/3 ) in MIGO transaction.

You need to post a Goods receipt for ZERO (0) quantity and the Last delivery flag set (to 2 SET in 'Purchase Order Data' tab) in MIGO. This will recduce the PO commitments.

This will work for Goods PO's. and Not for service PO's

Also you can try to make the Transaction copleted status status as Inactive using a FM CRM_STATUS_UPDATE ; JEST_UPD - I am not suee if this will work, give a try.
