Reg: Configtool not connecting to Database

Hello,

Activity we tried is Switching to physical standby databse. After completing the basic settings. we tried to open the configtool, but is not connecting.

Could you please suggest me the JDBC parameters? Used for connecting J2ee(configtool to Database).

User in Database SAPSIDDB is open in database.

Hi Vickey,

You should change the hostname of standby server in this case to same as of primary server , otherwise you have to modify lot of files manually, for now you can check system.log file in same directory (From where you are running config tool).

Eventhough you will be able to connect through config tool, still need lot of manual effort to start J2EE engne.

file i am aware of like bootstrap.properties holds such information.
