EAN + UPC on same material

Is is possible to get a UPC and EAN assigned to one material? Can the both be added to the BOM and/or how can correct one be chosen during production?

Any advise?

Hello

Assuming you have defined an EAN (EAN Category = 'HE' = Manufacturer EAN) for the material in the "Basic Data 1" view then you can assign the UPC within the "Additional Data -> Units of Measure".

Assumption: Base UoM is CS (= Case).

Then you define a ratio of 1CS : 1CS an assign the UPC (NUMTYP = 'UC').

However, I cannot tell you if and how the UPC can be dragged into the BOM.

PS: Obviously it is possible, too, to use the UPC in "Basic Data 1" and assign the EAN within "Units of Measure".
