Two different functionality of MIR7 for user A & user B

Dear Expert,

We have observed two different functionality of MIR7 for user A & user B

For user A

Invoice amount change automatically after changing quantity in Invoice

For user B

Invoice amount do not change automatically after changing quantity in Invoice

User A has requested for MIR7 functionality as User B

Please advice what would be reason for this

Hi,

What does the functional team say about this? This does not sound like a security issue to me but you may want to check:

1. Relevant PID's for the user

2. Role assignments (do they get the access from the same role/s)

3. Any settings they have configured for MIR7 via the menu

Please provide some more information about the access levels of both users and check the roles/profiles/parameters of both users. as your question is not clear.

Hi,

I've addressed a similar issue with MIR7 and MIR4 which was resolved with verifying the minimum required activities which you can identify using TSTCA table.

Goto SE16, enter TSTCA and MIR7 tcode in the tcode field.

Execute

Ensure that the listed activites/objects exist in the roles that are assigned to the user.

Also, check and the user parameters.

You set the IVAMOUNTADJUST user parameter (automatic amount adjustment) with a capital 'X' in your user master record in SU01 or SU3. You expect the system to automatically calculate the item amount again when you change the quantity.
