Hi experts,
I'd like to change a text int he message pool, and also change the translation of the text..
Changing the original text is easy, but how can I change the trasnlation???
I've read the documentation:
1. Go to webDynpro explorer
2. Found the properties file
3. right click on the file, but in the menu there is no Open Withu2026 ® S2X Document Editor .
I can choose from the menu: Open, DElete, DTR, internal noe info.
The description says:
1.In the Package Explorer, select the .properties file that the system has generated.
2. From the context menu, choose Open Withu2026 ® S2X Document Editor.
Where is that context menu????? I'm using:
SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio
Version: 7.0.18
Build id: 200811120846
Please help.
Thanks
N.
Hi,
Context Menu means you have to right click on the xlf file and then you will get the options. Select open with S2X editor.
If you have any further questions, please revert back.

Hi,
1. Go to the Navigator view of the WD project.
2. Navigate to the folder where the .xlf files are stored.
3. Look for the file which will be in the name of your message pool (messagepool.xlf).
4. Copy and paste the file.
5. add the ISO code of the language which u want to translate (eg: messagepool_de.xlf)
6. click on OK. the new .xlf file is created.
7. change teh source language to the language required and change the text in the "source text" tab of the .xlf file
8. Save, Reload and Deploy the project.
9. Change the browser language and check for the application.
