CATS activity connections

Hi,

We are using CATS for our registration of the working hours. The problem is that we need to connect the employeeu2019s with their activities at forehand. But there are people with no standard activities, in the morning they get a schedule for that day based on incidents.

Is it possible to connect employeeu2019s to a group which is connected to several (or all) activities and not a direct connection?

There are two three ways via which this can be done.

1. you can assign employee at WC level and assign that WC to your network activity ( Ahmed's reply )

2. You can assign employee at WC categroy level and assign that WC to your network activity.

3. You can create Project team for WBS and assgn all netwok activity to that WBS ( Gokul's reply )

4. You can assign employee to netwrok activity level

If above is not fulfilling your reqirement in that case you can validate entire CATS data entry sheet before save and create custom based validation.

Hi,

we want to work with the worklist in CATS but then we need to connect te employee with the activity. Is it possible to give an employee all activity's in forehand or can I make a group of employees that has than access to all activity's?

You should assign employee / persons to the Work center of the activity. Later, you can assign any employee/persons from that work center to the activity.

Read SAP Help, particulary capacity planning this will help you understand the functionalities available in Std SAP.

Hi,

Maintain a project team for the WBS under which these activities fall. You can assign any person from this team to the activities under this WBS. Refer SAP Help for more details. Its explained very well there.
