MAXDB 100%

Hello,

I'm running MAXDB 7.6.06.10 Win64 with non SAP Solution. Today all processes are fully exhausted with 100% CPU load. Stopping the DB and restarting doesn't solve the puzzle.

There are only abot 10 clients.

I don't know how to analyze the problem. Is there anyone who can help me? Any ideas?

you are using "some" software with a database, the engine is consuming CPU. Without knowing what this software is doing, how you connect to the database etc. it's next to impossible to suggest something.

you can try to see what the database is doing by excuting

x_cons <DBNAME> sh ac 1

thank you for your help - I think I found the solution. It was a very complex statement that was performed by many stations simultaneously.

After recoding that statement there's no problem anymore.

Thank you all

In task manager see what process are taking most CPU. After stopping the DB did you checked? Is backup running?
