Creating various databases at various locations

Hi All,

We are having a central production instance on which all my project locations login and do the data entry.

But due poor connectivity at remote locations we are thinking of installing local databases on each site and synchronising the data periodically on the central databse.

Can be it done nad how?

Regards,

Manoj

If you want to manage your Database the above solution is not possible.

Bcause you always need read and writes ....... And planned sync process will not help for these configs.

Dear Nick,

That is what I want to know.

I mean can we install SAP Database at each such site and do the data entry on local server and weekly synchronise it on the centralserver?

Hi,

This may be possible with PI in place. You better raise this query in the PI forum where u get more information about the data synchronisation.

The point to be noted here is that even if u r able to do such set up with some means u will have to run more than one production systems and u have to comply with the license terms for all the systems which are used productively.
