Hello to All,
We have a situation where some of our customers do not support RFC959 standard. So we are running into the issue documented in OSS note 821267 question 36. We are hitting our customers server every 1 second. We are currently manually activating and deactivating this FTP adapter everyday. We are on an HP Unix server. We tried to run the before operating system command with SLEEP 1800 but it did not seem to work.
Is there any secrets to using the Operating system command option on the FTP adapter?
We are hoping to only hit our customers server every hour or 30 minutes.
Any other suggestions on work arounds to this issue?
Thanks,
Deidre Logan
HI,
You may try with Java Proxy , in the Java proxy you can use Java APIs for sending/recieving files.
It may help you as a workaround instead of File Adapter.
