Default GL Account for Material/Service Product type

Is it possible to default a particular GL account for Product types Material/Service.

In SRM 7.0 .there is an option which is introduced -Default for product category

In which version you are working

I know there is an option for product category. But is there anyway we can default an GL account for services and one for all products.

In SPRO settings, Cross Application Basic settings>> Account Assignment>>Define GL Acnt for Product category & acnt assignment category.

Here you can default GL account no for all the account assignment categories like CC, FA, WBS etc.

Can we assign a GL account for a product category without specifing any account assignment category.

That means i want to assign the same GL for all the Account assignment category.

Hi Anil,

This is not possible. I would suggest you to have the same value of GL account for all the account assignment categories. This way you can meet your requirement.
