Hi,

Start transaction is not working for few users.

Few of us are getting this error "cannot start transaction session_manager" while opening any session after setting any transaction in "start transaction" option.

Extras (tab) -> Set start transaction

This error also occurs for users having same access.

I am facing the same issue when logon using Single Sign On, If I logon using a password - no issue.

This looks like an authorization issue. can you execute tcode: s000, for user who has issue which is for sap menu .

It dont work, I dont think it is a Authorizeration issue as I compared two to three User account with SU01 and SUIM but there is no difference in user account.

I have access to all transactions but only few transaction are working with "Start transaction" option.

Please advise.

Fine, can you please give few tcodes which are not working via 'start transaction'

I guess there is some issue with "Session_Manager" as start transaction is working only sometimes with few transaction Randomly.

For Example, I was able to open SM37 & SM66 with Start_Transaction yesterday but it is not working today which might work after sometime.

Please advise...

What does SM21 says ?

Paste log from SM21 .Issue is happenng for user having SAP_ALL or only for some group of users.?

There are no logs in SM21 for this error.

I compared two to three User account with SU01 and SUIM but there is no difference in user account.
