Include text line break

Former Member

Hi,

We have a smartform with a include text. The output text has three paraghaps. All the paraghaps are written continuosly (without line breaks). We'd like the line breaks not to be ignored. Does anyone the way to do that?

Thanks in advance.

It may be not work with include text. where the include text come from? if it come from document, i think you do manually separate by enter, if it come from text module assign style for text module to get result.

Thanks

The text is introduced in a text box by the user and salved using FM SAVE_TEXT.

If we use READ_TEXT to get the text back, blank lines and line breaks are not discarted. But this way, the text wouldn´t be formated correctly in the printed form.

I think it's not a good idea to use READ_TEXT FM to read include text. If include text is very long so we can miss text to be displayed. So, please request help of your functional to suggest users enter a blank line for each paragraph (we have to accept the situation mate).

Good luck,

Hi Carla,

Please try to assign paragraph to your include text node.

In your paragraph style (in smartstyle) choose at Indents and spacing section, assign value to Space before, space after and line spacing.

Thanks,
