Dear SAP,

I have modified a parameter in my system (JAVA standalone), using the Configtool.

After saving it, I get this message :

In order for the changes to take effect, please restart the cluser

My question :

Do I have to stop the full instance (stopsap) or is there a way to restart only the cluster ?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Best regards

Hi,

You can restart the individual nodes(dispatcher, server and sdm) using jcmon in Unix or using SAP MMC in Windows.

But its better to restar the complete instance for the changes to take effect.

Cheers..,

Yes, if this is UNIX then stopsap and in windows you can stop application using SAP MMC.
