Activate/Deactivate Outbound ES

Former Member

Hello,

We are now doing a few tests regarding Enterprise Services. We have noticed that every time a purchase request is created or updated two interfaces are triggered from ECC: PurchaseOrderERPRequest_Out_V1 and PurchaseOrderCreatedInformation_Out. Both interfaces belong to namespace http://sap.com/xi/APPL/Global2.

How can we deactivate this functionality? Where is this kind of configuration done?

Note: business function LOG_MM_P2PSE_1 is already activated in ECC system (with EhP 4).

Thanks in advance,

Pedro Leal

Hi Kate,

If it is ESR Outbound proxy then you can find from where it is getting called. Just Go to SPROXY tcode and get the Proxy Name. Go to SE24 and check the where used list.

Hi Kate,

In my case I noticed that the PurchaseOrderCreatedInformation_Out & PurchaseOrderChangedInformation_Out were being triggered from the ECC side.

These interfaces were stopped from triggering (in Abap on ECC side) using SAP Note: 1317798

Refer to BadI PUR_SE_PO_INTERFACE_OUT_SELECT that allows you to filter enterprise services that should be triggered in relation to purchase orders.

Hi,

Please check transaction SWF_BAM and remove assignment of event linkage belong to Purchase Order Business Object: (Object type: BUS0001).

Hi Gourav,

We don´t have anything configured in tcode SWF_BAM (This is a recent ECC installation) .We still dont't know why those two interfaces are getting triggered.

Oh! ok, then you need to check customization, I think settings are there which trigger these outboud services. You can find more information [here|http://esworkplace.sap.com/socoview(bD1lbiZjPTAwMSZkPW1pbg==)/render.asp?packageid=DE0426DD9B0249F19515001A64D3F462&id=94BC539EE14711DC2B8D000F20FCB6A9]. See section "Notes on SAP Implementation" for hint.

Hi Gourav,

The link suggested by you, refers to a service interface with same name ( PurchaseOrderERPRequest_Out_V1) but belonging to a different namespace ( http://sap.com/xi/SNC/Global).

The interfaces that are being triggered belong to namespace http://sap.com/xi/APPL/Global2 see [here|http://esworkplace.sap.com/socoview%28bD1lbiZjPTAwMSZkPW1pbg==%29/render.asp?id=BECFB560EE7511DC2B8D000F20FCB6A9&fragID=&packageid=DE0426DD9B0249F19515001A64D3F462&iv=].

Do you know which are the appropriate Customizing settings that need to be done in MM-PUR application component? Those Csutomizing settings are not detailed in the corresponding ES documentation.

Thanks,
