Hello
We are a VAR who also supports non-SAP applications. We would like to user Service Desk as a single ticket handling system for all of our customers via a web browser but currently access for clients to log tickets with us is via their 'S' number.
Is it possible to allow access to Service Desk via a web browser using other user IDs and passwords?
The non-SAP customers have already been manually set up as business partners and their systems manually maintained as installed bases.
Thanks you for your help,
Shannon
Hello,
Create a user in the solman system SU01 for these key user, in this case they can access the Service Desk via the Work Center directly.
S-user are SAP SMP users, but as this is your solman system you can give access to your solman system to this key user, so create them in the su01, check that you also need to assign the employee role to the associated BP number.
Hope this helps,
Dolores
