How can we configure Alerts without BPM!! Do we get emails !!

Hi Guys,

I have configured Alert frame work with Alert Configdef. Defined Folder Classification, created container, variable etc., Defined Conditions on RWB. I want to use that Alert Category in BPM in transformation step. The transformation step is not in Block. Whenever mapping fail, i can't able to get mail, unless transformation step in Block to reach deadling to throw an Alert.

Can some please explain a bit how to define this kind Alert mechanism. I no need on BPM any where on RWB etc., But I need Alert in the form of mail, when mapping fails. Second thing if Reciver system down, I need an alert as well.

Any generous help from any one.

Did you set up fixed recipients in ALRTCATDEF?

Hi Sevn,

I have configured fixed receipents, via role and authorization etc., In S c o T transaction, I have configured SMTP server and settings as well. In SMTP mail server settings, I have put my id in support address type, Internet etc., I have configured everything.
