Hi
I have a sample database in SQL Server 2008 name is Aventagerworks in that i have table called Description, in that i have varchar datatype. With that sample database i am trying to design the universe in business objects.
when i exporting and creating report in Web intelligence that table is not viewable in my reports
can anyone please help me in this problem
Thanks & Regards
Prasad
Did you Import Description table from Adventureswork to Universe structure??
If YES, just select that table and drag it to Classes and Objects pane(Left side one). Now save the Universe and Export it.
Now log-in to Infoview and choose the exported Universe and see now you can see your table in Query panel and drag objects and start Reporting.
:):)
Thank You!!

Hi,
I am not sure to undesrtand your point.
When you build a universe, the tables are NOT visible to BI clients.
The goal of a universe is make an abstraction of the relational sources: model the schema using tables and joins and then create a businesss layer on top of it by defining classes, dimensions, mesaures and detail.
Only the business layer is visible to the BI clients.
