SAP Contet server HTTP 500 on w2008 x64

Hi, i have just finish installing the sap content srever 640 on 2wndows 2008 x64

the windows is non R2, im using installation from NW 7 Presentation DVD,

after installation i have upgrade the DB to 7.8 version

I have run thru :

1. 0.400 BC-SRV-KPR-CMS 1293399 500 (Internal Server Error) in CSADMIN. 02.02.2009

2. 0.260 BC-SRV-KPR 582765 SAP Content Server cannot contact database 07.01.2003

3. 0.260 BC-SRV-KPR-CS 851146 ODBC driver cannot be loaded on Windows 2003 07.06.2005

4. 0.250 BC-SRV-KPR-CS 706664 SAP Content Server cannot access database

and put the recommendation in.

but my Content Repo creading still error

from the slg1 i can see the error is

x-errordescription: "CreateTab ContentStorage, connect error SQLConnect fai

led, [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no def

ault driver specified, Error Code: 0"

When i try to register livecache its givign me error that driver does not exists, i believe this because im using 7.8 maxdb 64bit

I have check the odbc32 system dsn, and nothing is there

anybody have any idea / solution to this problem ?

Hello,

Please review the SAP Note No. 1399009 & SAP Note No. 1353266.

Did you check PAM? Why did you update the database to 7.8 version?

In PAM for SAP CONTENT SERVER 6.40 ... MAXDB 7.7 is listed, but MAXDB 7.8 is NOT.

I recommend to uninstall the 7.8 database instance & reinstall the CS using the 7.7 database version.

Hi,

try to edit the file ContentServer.ini and/or CSProxyCache.ini (manually on the content-server or with csadmin).

Change the line

driver=LiveCache

to

driver=MaxDB
