Sales Order - Forecast Consumption

Dear Gurus,

I have a request from the client to be able to create Sales Order and decide wheter it has to consume the forecast or not but should be always relevant for MRP run.

I'm playing with the Schedule Line Category but in case I select "not relevant for MRP" will not consume the forecast but will not be considered by the MRP.

Does anyone has an idea on how I can accomplish to this requirement?

Hi Marco,

It seems to be a contradiction for me.

At schedule line category, you have only one set to decide it:

---

> Transfer of requirements flag

If the customer want always run MRP, this kind of needs should be set at schedule line category and also in material master.

---> Requirement of Strategy

So, try to explain the limitation of the system, but or do you make one thing or not, becase working with both situation is not possible.
