my Bi CONT is installed Correctly or not

hi Experts

please check my form

here i applying BI CONT7.04 to my system

first it gets Terminated due to some user Termination

then i Reimplemented that Patch

now it takes 2 days but the patch is running and also i checked data size in usr/sap/trans/tmp

here i have doubt

in tmp folder i have

SAPI-704IFINBICONT.LBD and

SAPKK-704IFINBICONT.LBD

these two files and SAPI-704IFINBICONT.LBD file is increasing their size is that correct

and how much time duration it will take to complete for applying BI cont

please reply me

Hi Ayur,

1:How is your hardware configuration RAM/CPU's available?

2:3 days of installation is hights it should take that much of time

3:Earlier we has some problem with patch application which was running for longer period and we and updated database stastics and rerun the patch upgrade which went fine

Hi Uday,

now its fourth day still installing BI patch is Running

here usr/sap/trans/tmp/

SAPI-704IFINBICONT.LBD file is increasing step by step and also

usr/sap/trans/log/ULOG file is also updating logs every time

but when i try to open tpsystem log

it shows an TMS alert Viewer

could not open log file usr/sap/trans/log/SLOG

why it shows like that .........is that my patch is applying or not please reply

Hi Experts,

still fifth day is running (BI_Cont)

here my pathch size is increasing and ulog is also updating but its fifth day i have some doubts in this so i want to reset my patch but here message shows dont reset this patch

but i want to reset my patch please give me steps for to reset my patch

Hi,

Also, check in the logs that it should not be waiting for writing on some file and showing file in use error. Sometimes it may happen that tp tries to write to some logs file which is used by some other hung process.

Yes, those are the log files and as long as they are increasing the import is still running.

This depends on your machine, the amount of memory you have, your underlying storage etc.

please solve my doubt

here i adding bi-cont by saint t-code

it s running last three days onwards and also it is increasing file size also but when i got completed this addon

and i want to check for status i try to open tp log but it shows an error

Could not open log file /usr/sap/trans/log/SLOG1041.LBD

please solve my doubt is that running or strucked
