Capacity of a storage bin doen`t increase by booking same material...

Hello,

I try problems in Warehouse Management by stocking:

Example:

I have a Material 0400004 on storage type 001 and storage bin 030101. There is one hundred of this material on stock.

Now I get goods receipt of the same material. The material goes to the same storage type 001 and storage bin 030101. That is correct!

But the Used capacity in storage bin (LS03N) doen not increase.

Before booking the new goods receipt there was a used capacitiy of 25 in the storage bin.

I`ve heard that this is the normal case because the 2 bin quantitys get on ("Quantverschmelzung" in German).

I think thats not right, is there a possibility to solve this problem.

I want that the used capacity increases also by booking the same material (that is on this storage bin yet) on a storage bin.

I tried with RLS10200 (Recalculate capacity data) but nothing happened.

I hope anybody can help me.

Hi Kevin,

Have you maintained the capacity usage field (MLGN-MKAPV) on the WM1 of the material master?

Maintain the field and recaluculate the capacity used.
