DropDownByKey in WebDynpro

Hi there,

I have made a dropdownlist with three values. I made a simple type and bound this to the context attribute, which is linked to the dropdownlist. The dropdownlist works fine when I start the application from WebDynpro. But when I start the application from a page which I made in the portal, I CAN NOT select any value from the dropdowlist. In the browser I get a message "Access denied".

Anybody familiar with this problem?

Hi Sandhya,

Are you accessing the portal through the fully qualified domain name?

For example, if your portal is located at <i>http://abc.domain.com:1234</i>, don't access it as <i>http://abc:1234</i>.

I am accessing the portal via the fully qualified name. All the other inputfiels are working well, only the dropdownbykey not.

Have you recently applied a patch? If so, please try to clear your browser cache and try if it works.

I have not applied a patch recently, but I cleared the cache of my browser and still no result.
