Half Year as one time bucket in planning bucket profile

Hi,

Is there a way by which we can define 6 months into one time bucket in planning bucket profile just like we can do 3 months in a quarter?

Need your suggestions ASAP.

FYI...we are also using fiscal year variant in storage bucket profile which has 12 posting periods.

You probably know this:

The following periodicities are valid in APO DP and SNP:

1 Day

2 Week

3 Month

4 Quarter

5 Year

6 Posting period

You are already using fiscal year variant with 12 posting periods.

We had somwhat similar requirement and we created a seperate data view with macros to show summation.

Hi Anup,

We had 2 KFs newly added and Macro was just doing summation of 12 months in our case ( on Finance year basis) for 3 FYs. The results were shown in the KFs( newly added). The totals of FY was not simple total because, it required summation of the actuals and forecasts for the current FY.

Hi,

I want to have a data view where there are three columns each representing a fiscal year i.e. the past fiscal year, the current fiscal year and the next fiscal year. A fiscal year is from 1st April of a year to 31st March of the next year.

I have tried using Fiscal variant V3 in system which has 12 posting periods and 4 special periods. The periods are as follows:

1 31 10 -1

2 29 11 -1

3 31 12 -1

4 30 1 0

5 31 2 0

6 30 3 0

7 31 4 0

8 31 5 0

9 30 6 0

10 31 7 0

11 30 8 0

12 31 9 0

In the time bucket profile, I have maintained following entries

When I click on Period List button here, I see the calendar years i.e.

Can it consider fiscal year like
