Change Commitment Item in GL master

Hi,

We are planning to change the commitment item in GL master duirng the end of Dec 2010 but we will be posting the transactions for Dec 2010 in Jan 2011 also, so for Dec 2010 transactions there would be a mixture of Commitments items for a GL account.

Now my question is how to transfer the actual posting from the new CI to old CI for dec 2010 transactions so that all the transactions till dec 2010 is posted to the existing CI.

Note, once the CI is changed in the GL master there is no link to that GL account.

Hope I am clear in my requirement.

Hi,

You can make reassignment via FMCB/FMCT transactions.
