Hello @all MaxDB Guru's.
First, let me spend a moment to say thanks for posting lots of helpfull answers here!
But now, my Q: (search wasn't succesfull)
We have one MaxDB Database Intance configured as Warm Standby. A task running hourly fills this DB with log files from the active one. This worked well till a network error. Since then we have trouble with the import of log files.
The import command looks like this:
recover_start P01_IMP H:\Import\PO1_LOG.31192
The utility returns:
ERR
-24988,ERR_SQL: SQL error
-903,Host file I/O error
20000,no update of LogInfoPage: DeviceState = Cleared, LogIsEmpty = true
6,k38headmaster, Error code 3700 "hostfile_error"
6,RestoreLog, Error code 3700 "hostfile_error"
Looking at the Database Error file, this shows the reason:
Async I/O thread started, 'H:\Import\PO1_LOG.31105.H:\Import\PO1_LOG-31192'
where the first entry is the log file that was beeing incompletly recovered while database crashed...
So, my Q is, how cann I clean up the 'Memory' of the Database Utility, so that it will work?
(Our MaxDB version: 7.6.06.10)
So, thx for reading...
Bye
Anton
Hello together,
the problem was solved - the information about the failed Log File Number was stored in the Backup Media Configuration (sometimes a look at the DBM GUI is very helpfull )
Kind Regards
