Hi everyone, Does anyone have an idea of what the SAP Security courses ADM940, ADM950, and ADM960 entail. Any information would be highly appreciated

I am unable to find the training in India. Any reasons for non-availability? How can I get notified when the course is available? Thanks for responding

Hi Vijaya,

The easiest thing to do would be to call SAP Education in India and ask them to let you know when the course is next running. Even if they don't have a firm date SAP Education will usually tell you an approximate date they hope to have something arranged.

I just took ADM 960 last month. The course was divided into the following topics:

I. Computer Security Overview

II. SAP Product Overview

III. Network Basics

IV. Introduction to Cryptography

V. Basic Security for SAP Systems

VI. Internet Transaction Server Security

VII. Single Sign-On Mechanisms in SAP Systems

VIII. SAP Web Application Server Security

IX. Using Enterprise Portals

X. Conclusion

To my knowledge the the three courses cover the following main topics:

ADM940 -> SAP authorization concept, roles etc. (useful for role admins)

ADM950 -> How to audit your SAP security concept (concentrating on authorizations). This course is also useful for role admins

ADM960 -> Technical aspects of SAP security (Single-sign-on, encryption etc)
